PIH Health Downey Hospital, PIH Health Physicians (PHP), PIH Health Whittier Hospital: Your open enrollment period will be from Thursday, October 16 – Friday, November 7, 2025
PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital: Your open enrollment period will be from Monday, October 27 – Friday, November 7, 2025
Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to evaluate your benefits to ensure that you have comprehensive coverage that is right for you and your family. This is the time to confirm if you have the right benefits of if you should make any changes. For example, changes to your PIH Health benefits you may consider include:
- Medical, dental, and/or vision coverage
- Enrolling/re-enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account
- Enrolling in CashBack
- Adding or dropping dependents
IMPORTANT: Changes made during open enrollment will be effective from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
Do I Need to Enroll?
This year, Open Enrollment is passive. For most benefits, you do not need to take action if you do not want to make any changes to your current benefit elections. NOTE: You must enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts and the CashBack option if you wish to participate.
Actions You May Take During Open Enrollment
- Change your current coverage
- Enroll in coverage you do not currently have
- Add or drop a dependent
- Enroll or change your FSA or HSA election Please Note: Your elections do not roll over from year to year. To participate, you must enroll or re-enroll annually.
